So You Think You Can Dance!!

Last night Andrea, Matt, and I went to the So You Think You Can Dance Live Tour!! It was amazing!! Matt and I had never seen the show but Andrea LOVES it so we went with her and I am for sure going to watch it next season! The dances were incredible! Matt got to interview all of the cast earlier in the day but since he had never seen the show he wasn't sure what questions to ask so he had Andrea come along with him to ask all the questions! Andrea was very "star struck" lol. Matt said she is the KBULL 93 In House Dance Show Expert! While we were at the show we met up with Chelsie and her sister Whitnie! They were having a blast too!

Patrick Dempsey!!

Today Matt was doing a live radio remote for KBULL 93 out at Miller Motorsports Park for the practice and qualifying races for the Rolex Grand Am Sports Car Series. He once again let me tag along with the hope of meeting Patrick Dempsey who is a racer for the hyper sport team. Patrick races a Mazda RX8. We had like 20 chances to meet him but everytime I felt like we would be bugging him so I chickened out. When Matt and I were sitting at the KBULL tent I was just looking at people passing by and all of a sudden there goes Patrick Dempsey on a Bike and he smiled and waved at me!! Yeah that was definitly a highlight! About 20 min later he rode back the other way and smiled and waved again! By this time I was determined to catch him and get a picture! Matt interviewed a man on air named Kelly Collins who races against Patrick. During the interview Matt asked him if he thought Patrick was a good racer and Kelly's response was "Well I think he's a better racer than I am an actor". After Matt's live remote was done we decided to stick around for a little while longer to watch Patricks qualifying race and maybe finally get a picture with him after. Good thing we did because sure enough we saw him again and this time I was not gonna be a chicken! So we walked up to him and I finally got to meet him! If you know me then you know that this is a HUGE deal!

Jessica Simpson

Weber High School won the "High School Hook Up With Jessica Simpson" contest on KBULL 93. All the high schools in utah sent texts to the station and the school with the most texts sent won an assembly with Jessica. Weber won with 571,795 texts! Crazy huh?? Anyway, Johnson and Johnson and Matt were conducting the assembly so I got to tag along!! We had a meet and greet in the Weber High School Office and all the student body officers were there and so were the two students who sent the most text messages for the school. One kid sent over 20,000 texts by himself! I got my picture taken with Jessica and I had her sign my Jessica Simpson shoes!! Matt didn't really care to get his picture taken with her. She is way cute in person and she is the same height as me!! I always thought she was taller! So I get to add Jessica Simpson to my list of many country artists I've been able to meet thanks to Matt!! The assembly was held in there gym and the student body went crazy when she walked out! She answered some questions and then they showed her music video for her new country song "Come On Over" and then she was out of there! She is in Utah promoting her new country CD that is being released in stores tomorrow.

The New Blog

Yes its true, The Ramone's now have a blog! Andrea of course talked me into it and I decided I would test it out! I am a blogging newby so this could be interesting! Hopefully I can use this to keep family and friends updated on what we are up to! So I decided for my first post I would let everyone know what Matt and I did this summer:

•First off we got married on June 7th, 2008 in the Salt Lake Temple. It was a gorgeous wedding and I had all my little girl wedding dreams come true!

•Then we left on our amazing honeymoon to Kauai in Hawaii. It was the perfect honeymoon until....(being the space cadet that I am) I lost the camera with all of our pictures on it!

•Next we moved into our brand new house in Tooele. I love, love, love our home!!

• I turned 22 on July 8th and Matt turned 27 on Sept 9th

• I finished the whole Twilight Series in a week and a half!

That is a very vague list of what we did but I couldn't list EVERYTHING that happened! From now on I will make a post when anything big or interesting happens!
