Matt has been the producer of the Johnson & Johnson morning show on Kbull 93 for the past 2 years and for the first time ever in the history of Kbull 93 their show has been nominated for an ACM award for On-Air Personality of the Year in a large market! This is huge! I'm so proud of him! They will find out if they win sometime at the beginning of March, but even being nominated is an award in of itself! If they do win we are going to the award show at MGM grand in Las Vegas! My fingers are crossed! They deserve this! Halloween is in the air!!

Well it's that time of year again! I HATE the weather change but LOVE all of the fun stuff to do! I got my house decorated and bought a ton of new decorations this year! I can't help it, Halloween is my favorite holiday (I say that on almost every big holiday though lol)! Matt loves it too, he put black, orange, and strobe lights on the outside of our house. It looks so cool! A lot like last year but with a few changes. Today my family played hookie from work and took a trip to Gardner Village! If you haven't visted it during Halloween time you really should go this year! They have witches all over the place! It's really cute and it has a really fun Halloween atmosphere. I went with Andrea and Presley last year and Pres was scared to death of the witches, but this year she was totally ok with them and she had a blast! We took the Witch Hay Ride and it was dang cute! We ate at Archibald's Restaurant at the end of the day! Oh and ignore Matt's "trash stache" in these pics, he didn't have time to shave before we left, I didn't give him much notice! LOL

1st Wedding Anniversary!

Today was our 1 year wedding anniversary! WOW this year went by SO FAST!! It's been a fun and crazy year! For our anniversary we decided as our present to each other we would put our yard in! We layed the sod yesterday! Matt surprised me with roses this afternoon! How sweet huh? We went on a date to Spencer's Steakhouse at the Hilton downtown! It was so delicious!

I am so greatful for my husband and everything he does for me! He is such a hard worker and never stops trying to make me happy. I married my best friend and I couldn't imagine not being with him! We have so much fun together! He makes me laugh everyday wether I want to or not! I love him more than anything.

Thanks for a great year honey and I am looking forward to an eternity more! I love you!

Visiting Grandma!!

This past sunday we drove to Santaquin to visit my wonderful Grandma Blanche! She is the sweetest Grandma ever! She has at least one picture of every child, grandchild, and great grandchild set up in her room and she has her famous "Grandma's Birthday Calender" hung up! It's a huge calender that has everyone's birthday on it! She never forgets! I was so greatful to have her at my wedding! She is the last grandparent I have left! After we visited her we decided to stop at a park near by because the weather was PERFECT!! Here's a little slide show of our day!

Well we've had Copper for 3 1/2 weeks now and he is already getting so BIG!! He is so spoiled too! We bought him a huge kennel for our backyard and it took Matt 4 hours to put it together! Copper and Matt take walks everyday and I tag along sometimes. Here is a little slide show of the past 3 weeks with him and you can see how much he's changing! I love him to death!

So Matt finally caved and let me get a puppy :D!! Although the breed was Matt's idea, I am really glad he convinced me to get a blue heeler! After doing some research about them I discovered blue heelers are the best breed of dog to have as a pet! So this is Copper!
I absolutely love him to pieces! He is a little over 8 weeks old right now! He is a sweetheart and very well behaved! We are working at potty training and he is doing a really good job! He loves little small spaces and to be really close to Matt and I! You can tell he already knows who his owners are!

Today was opening day of the Hannah Montana movie and Miley Cyrus was making surprise appearances at different theaters in different cities! One of her stops was right here in South Jordan at the Megaplex 20 at the District. KBULL 93 was one of 3 radio stations, plus all the major news stations, that were able to record the surprise and have a press conference afterwards. I got to tag along as the "photographer" for the station HAHA! It was really cool and Billy Ray was even there with her!!

Last night we got to go see Wicked at Capitol Theater! It was media night so there were a ton of media people there! We sat right in front of Nicea from Good Things Utah! The musical was AMAZING! Funny, romantic, sad........ it has EVERYTHING!! I LOVED IT! Go see it if you can!

Crazy Busy!

Ok so I haven't posted anything new for quite awhile! So here's a brief update:

My hair girl Shauna convinced me to cut bangs.....somedays I love them, somedays I hate them! But all in all the reviews have been positive! I'll keep them for awhile!

Matt is loving his job as always! He's also been golfing quite a bit already this year! He's been sick for about 9 days now and I finally convinced him to go to the doctor today! Haha! Needless to say he loves his car and never lets it stay dirty for longer than an hour! HAHA! He got to meet Vanilla Ice in studio a little while ago too! Lucky duck!

A few weeks ago we took a quick trip to Las Vegas for a little R & R! It was so much fun! Although I wouldn't recommend losing your purse in a casino and then try to retrace your steps.........lol shockingly someone turned it in! Believe it or not, there are a few honest people in Vegas!

I have been so busy with two jobs, I was constantly working!! Luckily we were able to get another client at my first job so I was able to quit job number 2! I will miss it though, it was actually quite fun! While working at bebe we had a really fun Spring Premier Party! Our DJ cancelled last minute so my wonderful husband came to our rescue! Here are a few pics from that:

Now it's time for Spring and Summer which means putting in our yard!! YAY!! I'm so excited! I can't wait to plant flowers and lay on the grass! I'll let you know how it goes and post some pictures of us hard at work.......or at least Matt hard at work and me with a glass of lemonade watching lol......... we'll see what happens! Oh and we are super excited to be an Aunt and Uncle again in July! I can't wait to meet baby Jett! He's going to be a heart breaker for sure!

So last night Matt and I went car shopping! Matt's truck has had it and he really needed a new car! He has been wanting a black Chrysler 300 for almost 4 years now! To me it was spur of the momment but I guess Matt knew what he was doing when he woke up! HAHA! Anywho here is our new black 2009 Chrysler 300! I LOVE IT!!

One of my best friends, Heather Burton, is going on a Mission to New York! We have been friends since Junior High! A few of our friends all got together and went to the Spaghetti Factory as a farewell dinner! It was so much fun hanging out with my old friends! I love these girls! Brandie even brought pictures of all of us in Junior High together! We all went bowling after, which is always fun!! I am extremely proud of Heather and I know she will be a great missionary! I will miss her but she will be back in 18 months!

Disneyland!!!!

Disneyland was so much fun! Jaxton and Presley were so excited to be there! My parents, Nick, Andrea, Presley, Matt and I got to have lunch with all of the princesses the first day we got there! Presley was soooo happy and Ariel dubbed Presley the cutest kid of the day! My parents, Preston, Amber, and Jaxton got to have breakfast with all of the characters the next day!! Matt and I rode every ride at least once! My favorites were the Hollywood tower of terror in California Adventure and Space Mountain in Disneyland! Both Parks were decked out for Christmas! Even a lot of the rides were redone to be Christmas themed! It was a great vacation!! Thanks Mom and Dad!!

Christmas 2008

Christmas was so great! On Christmas Eve night Matt's mom and sisters came over for dinner and since the weather was too bad for them to drive home they spent the night and had breakfast with us in the morning! It was so nice that we were able to spend time with them on Christmas! After they left Matt and I had our own little Christmas and opened the presents we got for eachother. Matt got me a gorgeous Dooney and Bourke zebra handbag that I love and a bottle of Gucci perfume! I got him a Louis Vuitton tie, a tie rack, and 3 new wallets! After that we got dressed and headed up to my parents house for lunch. My mom made a Ham and salads, it was so good! My parents decided that for our Christmas this year they would just get us all tickets to Disneyland!! California here we come!

Tis' The Season For Lights And Decorations!

Well I'm a little slow on posting these pictures considering we had all of this up a week before Thanksgiving but better late than never right? Matt spent the whole saturday two weeks before Thanksgiving putting up all of the lights on the house (I think he was too excited to wait)! He did such an amazing job, they look like a professional did them! Then we drove to Tai Pan Trading and bought our very first Christmas tree and decorations together! I spent the whole saturday the week before Thanksgiving putting all the decorations up! We are however missing one important decoration........The Star for the top of the tree! We are in search of the perfect Star and we just haven't found "the one" yet! I love Christmas lights and decorations! I am so excited we have a house of our own to decorate now and I'm thrilled Matt enjoys it as much as I do!

Black Friday

Holy smokes! Black Friday at Bebe was CRAZY!! I got there at 9:00 am, which was an hour after we opened, and the place was a mad house! We had some amazing sales going on and some of them are still going on for the next little while. I splurged on my break and took advantage of the sales! I got some great stuff! I love Bebe! I didn't get off until 4:30!

Thanksgiving!!

For Thanksgiving we ate at my parents! The food was amazing as always, my mom is a great cook! I look forward to Thanksgiving every year! Andrea and Nick made a huge announcement via Presley's shirt! HAHA! Presley is going to be a big sister! YAY!! Congrats guys, I love you! I thought that in the tradition of Thanksgiving I would give a vage list of what I am thankful for.

1. My wonderful Husband! I married the best man in the world and I have no idea what I would do without him. He works so hard to make our home so nice and to make me happy. I love you honey!

2. My close family! We are all co-workers and together constantly. We may not always get along but I couldn't imagine being away from them.

3. My adorable Niece and Nephew. I love those two kids and they have taught me more than anyone!

4. My beautiful house that we are very very lucky to have!

FINALLY!! We have waited so long to see this movie and we finally got to see it last night at 12:35am! It was Twilight mania at the Gateway! Andrea, Amber, my Mom, Kelli, and I rocked our Twilight shirts and hoodies and we had way too much fun! The movie was AWESOME! You have to have read the book to completely appreciate the movie but if you have read the book you will LOVE LOVE LOVE the movie! Great inside jokes, Edward was HOT, great action scenes.......what's not to love? We are going again and again and again..........!

Our 1st Halloween in our new home!!

We had a great Halloween! We stayed home and carved pumpkins, made cookies, and handed out candy to trick or treaters! Our neighborhood doesn't have as many kids as I thought so we bought way too much candy! Jaxton and Presley also came trick or treating and we had a special "treat" for them! Matt did a great job lighting up our house with orange and purple lights and I decorated the front porch and a little bit inside. We spent the rest of the night watching Ghost Hunters!! I am looking forward to decorating for Christmas now! I hope everyone else had a great Halloween!

Last night the crazy Pratt's......and the Ramone's.....got together to have a Halloween costume party!! Matt and I have dressed up every year since we started dating but I finally convinced everyone else to get in the spirit and dress up. My mom made some wicked clam chowder and of course she had the house decked! Jaxton and Presley always have a blast playing together at grandma's house. We spent the rest of the night playing an intense game of "Spooky Bunco"! Matt blew everyone away with a win of 5 buncos (beginners luck), I got the most losses (go figure), Amber won most wins, Andrea won evens, and my mom won travel! Everyone loved playing bunco and I think we have began a new family tradition!

Tonight the whole family (Brad, Kaye, Nick, Andrea, Preston, Amber, Hillary, Matt, Jaxton, and Presley) had dinner at my parents and then we put our best effort into carving some pumpkins. Our family hasn't carved pumpkins in years and we thought it would be fun to do it again with Jaxton and Presley! Nick and Andrea carved a "P" for Presley and Preston and Amber carved a vampire because that is what Jaxton is dressing up as for Halloween. Matt and I are carving our pumpkins another night but we had fun hanging out and helping them with theirs.

Today My Mom, Andrea, and I went to the Good Things Utah show!! Johnson and Johnson were on the show today to announce the new contest on KBULL 93! They are giving away 10 trips to the CMA's! Reba & Kelly Concert

Last night Matt and I went to the Reba and Kelly concert at the Energy Solutions Arena. It was a pretty good concert! Matt had seen Reba in concert a few times and met her at one of the concerts. I had seen her at the Stadium Of Fire awhile back but neither of us had seen Kelly Clarkson before. The best entertainment though was before the concert at the KBULL 93 tent. They have some crazy fans and there was a huge crowd screaming and jumping up and down! At every concert Johnson and Johnson or Pat Garrett do contests for back stage passes and front row tickets and it usually turns into a mad house! It was freezing outside and i'm surprised everyone stuck around until the concert started. Melissa, the woman who plays Barbara Jean on the Reba tv show, opened up with a stand up comedy bit that was pretty funny. It was a fun date night with Matt.

Holy smokes I can't wait for this movie!! Andrea and I have watched this atleast 20 times already and it just barely premiered last night!! Matt thinks I am crazy! He started the H.A.Ters club, Husbands Against Twilight, and Nick is his only club member so far. I read all 4 books in a week and a half and I have begun reading them for the second time. I can't get enough and Andrea and I will for sure be the first ones in line at the midnight premiere on November 21st with our Team Edward shirts on!! HAHA!!!

The Forsberg Family Sealing

Today we had the great privledge of attending the sealing of the beautiful Forsberg family. My cousin Kristi, her husband Brian, and their children, Savannah, Nick, and Tate were sealed in the Logan Temple. I have never seen anything so incredible as a whole family being sealed together. Thankfully someone was smart and passed out tissues to everyone in the room before it started. It was beautiful and everyone welled up with tears of joy. I have never seen a family so happy. I was so grateful Matt and I were able to attend along with My parents and My brother Nick and his wife Andrea. Nothing is more precious than an eternal family. They had many friends and family there supporting them and they are very loved. Outside the Temple we spent about an hour taking family pictures which is always a fun ordeal with that many people involved but I am always grateful for family pictures. Pictures to me are very important. (If I had to evacuate my home in a hurry I would just grab all the pictures I could and my Laptop that has all of our pictures saved on it.)

Afterward they held a luncheon at the Copper Mill Restaurant. The food was delicious and I love spending time with my family. Even though we all live so close we are not able to see eachother as much as we would like. My uncle Budd, Kristi's father, is so fun to catch up with because he always has great stories to tell.

The drive home was pretty interesting. Matt had only slept a total of 2 hours last night because he had to go to work at his normal time this morning, 3:00 AM, and he stayed up late last night watching the vice presidential debates that he had recorded. Well needless to say he was too tired to drive home so he pulled over and we switched spots. About 10 mins after I started driving Matt was out like a light in the passenger seat. All of a sudden he jumped up scared and trying to reach for the wheel in front of him which of course wasn't there and he tried to press on the break which wasn't there either. He thought he had fallen asleep while driving! Poor guy! His heart was racing!

Well despite Matt's scare on the way home, it was a great day!

So You Think You Can Dance!!

Last night Andrea, Matt, and I went to the So You Think You Can Dance Live Tour!! It was amazing!! Matt and I had never seen the show but Andrea LOVES it so we went with her and I am for sure going to watch it next season! The dances were incredible! Matt got to interview all of the cast earlier in the day but since he had never seen the show he wasn't sure what questions to ask so he had Andrea come along with him to ask all the questions! Andrea was very "star struck" lol. Matt said she is the KBULL 93 In House Dance Show Expert! While we were at the show we met up with Chelsie and her sister Whitnie! They were having a blast too!

Patrick Dempsey!!

Today Matt was doing a live radio remote for KBULL 93 out at Miller Motorsports Park for the practice and qualifying races for the Rolex Grand Am Sports Car Series. He once again let me tag along with the hope of meeting Patrick Dempsey who is a racer for the hyper sport team. Patrick races a Mazda RX8. We had like 20 chances to meet him but everytime I felt like we would be bugging him so I chickened out. When Matt and I were sitting at the KBULL tent I was just looking at people passing by and all of a sudden there goes Patrick Dempsey on a Bike and he smiled and waved at me!! Yeah that was definitly a highlight! About 20 min later he rode back the other way and smiled and waved again! By this time I was determined to catch him and get a picture! Matt interviewed a man on air named Kelly Collins who races against Patrick. During the interview Matt asked him if he thought Patrick was a good racer and Kelly's response was "Well I think he's a better racer than I am an actor". After Matt's live remote was done we decided to stick around for a little while longer to watch Patricks qualifying race and maybe finally get a picture with him after. Good thing we did because sure enough we saw him again and this time I was not gonna be a chicken! So we walked up to him and I finally got to meet him! If you know me then you know that this is a HUGE deal!

Jessica Simpson

Weber High School won the "High School Hook Up With Jessica Simpson" contest on KBULL 93. All the high schools in utah sent texts to the station and the school with the most texts sent won an assembly with Jessica. Weber won with 571,795 texts! Crazy huh?? Anyway, Johnson and Johnson and Matt were conducting the assembly so I got to tag along!! We had a meet and greet in the Weber High School Office and all the student body officers were there and so were the two students who sent the most text messages for the school. One kid sent over 20,000 texts by himself! I got my picture taken with Jessica and I had her sign my Jessica Simpson shoes!! Matt didn't really care to get his picture taken with her. She is way cute in person and she is the same height as me!! I always thought she was taller! So I get to add Jessica Simpson to my list of many country artists I've been able to meet thanks to Matt!! The assembly was held in there gym and the student body went crazy when she walked out! She answered some questions and then they showed her music video for her new country song "Come On Over" and then she was out of there! She is in Utah promoting her new country CD that is being released in stores tomorrow.

The New Blog

Yes its true, The Ramone's now have a blog! Andrea of course talked me into it and I decided I would test it out! I am a blogging newby so this could be interesting! Hopefully I can use this to keep family and friends updated on what we are up to! So I decided for my first post I would let everyone know what Matt and I did this summer:

•First off we got married on June 7th, 2008 in the Salt Lake Temple. It was a gorgeous wedding and I had all my little girl wedding dreams come true!

•Then we left on our amazing honeymoon to Kauai in Hawaii. It was the perfect honeymoon until....(being the space cadet that I am) I lost the camera with all of our pictures on it!

•Next we moved into our brand new house in Tooele. I love, love, love our home!!

• I turned 22 on July 8th and Matt turned 27 on Sept 9th

• I finished the whole Twilight Series in a week and a half!

That is a very vague list of what we did but I couldn't list EVERYTHING that happened! From now on I will make a post when anything big or interesting happens!
